When is whale shark season?

Whale shark season in La Paz runs from October to April. However, constant monitoring is carried out in the area starting on October 1st to ensure the minimum number of sharks (6) is reached before the season officially begins. It can take up to a month to begin.

When is sea lion season?

There is no official season for sea lions. However, during the months of June and August, sea lions enter their mating season, and swimming with them is not permitted; only viewing is allowed from the boat.

Can I join a trip if I'm pregnant?

Due to the physically demanding nature of our tours and the fact that we are not close to medical facilities, snorkeling is not recommended during the first or last trimester.

Can babies be on board?

Yes, only children over 3 years old can snorkel, and they must always be accompanied by a family member.

Is it dangerous to swim with whale sharks or sea lions?

No, our snorkeling activities are safe and fun.

I get seasick easily. What can I do?

Eat a light breakfast and take a Dramamine pill at least two hours before the tour. Please check with us about the weather conditions for that day.

If I don't want to swim during the tour, is it the same price?

Since there is a minimum number of passengers, everyone pays the same price.

Can we feed or touch the animals?

No, we will always maintain respectful behavior and follow the swimming rules.
